Read Lisa Rinna's lips: Don't make fun of her plastic surgery.

The actress, 46, lashed out after a Twitter follower criticized her kisser.

"Sorry Lisa, but your lips look awful...how on Earth do you think that looks good?" the person asked.

Outraged, Rinna angrily replied: "Shame on you! How rude! If you cannot say anything nice then don't say anything at all!!"

Rinna said she usually doesn't respond to a negative comments, "but as a group, we must stop cyber bullying. It's not right."

"I'm a big girl I can handle the haters BUT what about our young people who can't and it destroys their self esteem?!!" she then added. "This must stop!"

In the past, Rinna has been outspoken about her surgery. Last year, she told the website MomLogic she looked like a "freak" because she got too much Juvederm put in her cheeks.

At Us Weekly's Hot Hollywood party last week, she said she was done talking about surgery. She told Us she didn't know why so many people seem obsessed with the topic these days.

Leave the poor cutie alone... Natural beauty is accepting variations in us all and accepting things that are not that far from the average. The enhancements professionals make in good faith often come back to haunt us later in life. It's great that she is speaking out on this. Cosmetic dentistry and facial enhancement surgery has a huge potential for abuse. The expose 'Confessions of a Former Cosmetic Dentist' (book) is a contribution to the cause against unjustified & extreme cosmetic enhancement surgery. There is an interesting conflict between lip surgery and extreme veneer makeovers as described in this recent press release which also mentions Lisa Rinna.

She's an idiot. There's a difference between cyber bullies and internet trolls. And if you're looking to stop trolls, feeding them is the last thing you want to do.

I feel this comment has fallen on deaf ears, as if Ms. Rinna had listened to her hater, she would've realized the underlying problem that attempting to artificially look beautiful would sometimes have negative effects. Instead of going to war and lashing out, maybe she could've made an attempt to understand where the comment was coming from. How does she know that she hasn't ultimately done what she was attempting to avoid, and crushing the self esteem of the person that made the comment?

First of all the comment about Lisa Rinna's lips is absolutely true - her lips look awful. And the obsession with plastic surgery falls in the hands of the beholder. Sorry but these so called 'stars' are obsessed with plastic surgery and they are looking worse by the day. She should have left her lips and cheeks as God gave them to her! I feel sorry that they have to go through such extremes to 'try' to look younger - age gracefully and get over it.

Why do white people want to be orange? She knows her lips look bad. She made a mistake in getting silicon implants.

  • May 04, 2010 - 10:31am Come on lisa

You have to know your lips are frightening.

I don't think most stars would bother taking up for themselves. They would try to rise above the person saying it. I don't call it defending yourself I call it taking the high road. Now this is in HER situation I'm speaking of.

There is really alot more to what I'm trying to say and why I compared it to a child. Trying to tell you that kids pick up to what we say or do. You think that they are not paying attention to us but they are. No matter if its cybering or not, adult or child it is still bullying and it hurts alot. I just got my 11 year old out of the hospital because he couldn't take the verbal abuseat school. I was surprise that there was 2 new patience that were younger then my son, 8 and 10, they were there for the same reason. What I am proud of Lisa is that she wants to help stop bullying and she's not doing it just for herself. She had her surgery for herself not us. If it makes her feel better about herself then good for her and that's the only thing that matters. How many times do we tell our kids to be themselves? This is who she is and its not like she changed her entire looks to where you don't recognize her. There's alot more I can say but I don't think that you'll understand me unless you've been there personally. Just her standing up for herself trying to make a difference is great and maybe thats what i want, my kid to realize is that you have to be happy with yourself and not worry about what others say about you and if it bothers you, be strong and stand up for yourself. He won't take our advice maybe seeing others do it, he might just find his way to doing it too even if it comes from a famous person we might not like what they do to their own bodies.

Cyber Bullying!!! Really!!! what ever happened to teaching your children "STICKS AND STONES CAN BREAK YOUR BONES, BUT NAMES CAN NEVER HARM YOU!" I teach this to my children, so when/if anyone ever says mean things to them they'll look at them and probably say something like oooohhhhh that hurt...big words, so what, just words, can't hurt you!

Sorry Lisa, while your body may be banging, your face is a disaster. You look a hot mess and you know it. You DESTROYED your beautiful face with ridiculous plastic surgery and now you look like a mess. Live with it. It's the first thing people see, and the reason why YOU DON'T GET WORK IN HOLLYWOOD anymore!

Yes it is sad Sarah. Celebs should stay off twitter. They could have a page where they like check in once a week or something. With all their resources they should definitely be focused on something else. Whey else are we here?

  • April 29, 2010 - 9:18pm Sarah

It's sad that celebrities have so much idle time on their hands that all they can do is fixate on their facades. They need to find their purpose in life.

  • April 29, 2010 - 9:11pm Mike
