Liv Tyler Goes Glam for Ballet Gala

These days, Liv Tyler spends more time strolling around Manhattan in jeans with her son Milo, 6, than attending fancy parties and posing on the red carpet.

But the actress, 34, got totally decked out in a gorgeous designer gown for the New York City Ballet Fall Gala on Thursday night, where she mingled with other A-listers including Sarah Jessica Parker, Naomi Watts and Paul McCartney.

Tyler chose a black strapless look created by pal Stella McCartney (who also attended the fete), which featured an embroidered lace bodice and tulle skirt. She accessorized with vibrant green earrings and wore her long brown hair in shiny loose curls over one shoulder.
