Dark demeanor! Miley Cyrus is the latest celeb to front Marc Jacobs -- and she looks perfectly pensive, if not distant, as she poses in the brand's spring 2014 ad campaign.
Wearing an embellished, navy-hued jacket, burgundy-colored shorts and slippers, the "Wrecking Ball" babe, 21, sits and looks thoughtful and morose as she gazes away from the lens. Cyrus props her arms up against her famous, lean legs, which are bent to place her in a nearly cocoon position. She looks flawless in the new ads, which are set to appear in February issues of magazines worldwide.
The "Adore You" singer has long maintained a close working relationship with the New York-based fashion designer: Cyrus wore a grungy-but-glam fishnet dress that was custom-designed by Jacobs to the 2013 Met Gala back in May. In October, she dazzled in a glittering green Marc Jacobs gown when she presented the designer with the Superstar Award at the 2013 FGI Night of Stars Gala in NYC.
Cyrus, meanwhile, has not only shown love to Jacobs on the red carpet -- the singer has also supported him with respect to his various causes. Cyrus recently posed nude for Jacobs' skin tee -- a $35 item that donates 100 percent of all proceeds to the NYU Skin Cancer Institute -- which includes the words "Protect the skin you're in" along with a head-to-toe naked shot of the crooner.
On Monday, Jan. 7, the star shared a pantless Instagram photo of herself, wearing just a graphic tee by Marc by Marc Jacobs in support of same-sex marriage. The shirt, which includes a drawing of a couple with their child, reads, "I pay my taxes -- I want my rights."
