Nicole Richie, 28, inadvertently showed off her booty and bright green underwear thanks to the super short denim shorts she wore Thursday while visiting the Andy LeCompte salon in Beverly Hills.

The night before, the Winter Kate designer looked more pulled together in a floor-length gown at the Missoni Beverly Hills store opening.

Richie recently told UsMagazine.com she doesn't have any style icons.

"I really admire anyone who is their own person and doesn't really follow trends," she said. "When I was little, I would always watch my mom get ready and think that she had the best wardrobe."
