Nashville’s in the house!
Faith Hill stepped out at the 87th Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 22, and she was joined by her husband, Tim McGraw, looking almost unrecognizable without one of his most beloved accessories: his cowboy hat!
Hill, 47, who hasn’t been spotted on the carpet since the 2014 CMA Awards when she debuted her pixie, donned a cream J. Mendel dress with a plunging neckline and gorgeous detailing. And just in case the beaded confection didn’t have enough sparkle, she also added a long diamond necklace, the length of her neckline.
Meanwhile, McGraw, 47, who was on hand to perform the nominated song, “I’m Not Going to Miss You,” from documentary Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me, sizzled in his Lanvin tuxedo.
The country crooner looked handsome, though admittedly a bit changed: slightly more trim, with a closer-shaved haircut and scruff-less face, and, of course, he left his Stetson hat at home.
“This one makes you nervous!” McGraw admitted to Ryan Seacrest. “It’s such a big event, and there’s so many great people out there. And the song’s a pretty special song. Just to be asked to be at [the Oscars]…” he added in awe.
The E! Red Carpet host then prompted Hill, who’s performed at the Oscars in previous years, what advice she’d give her husband: “Just hold on,” she replied, then, considering her nerves, added, “I apologize to anyone sitting near me!”
