Tim McGraw, active in the country music scene since 1992, has had 11 consecutive albums debut at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, and has won three Grammys and 10 American Music Awards, among other accolades. The Louisiana native — married to Faith Hill since 1996 — toured with his wife on the Soul2Soul II tour — the second outing featuring the pair as coheadliners, and the event went on to become one of country’s top-grossing tours ever.
The son of late baseball player Tug McGraw, the country music superstar ventured into acting in 2006 with Flicka, and later appeared in The Blind Side (with Sandra Bullock), Four Christmases (with Reese Witherspoon) and Country Strong (with Gwyneth Paltrow), among other projects.
In his free time, McGraw is active in several philanthropic efforts, including HomeFront, a program in which the singer gives mortgage-free homes to military veterans and families. He and Hill also founded the Neighbor’s Keeper Foundation in 2004 in an effort to help strengthen community ties and aid local children’s initiatives in cities nationwide.
McGraw and Hill have three daughters: Gracie, Maggie and Audrey.
