Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s daughter Maggie McGraw is engaged to James Rubin, her sister Gracie McGraw confirmed.
“So much love these past few days… weeks…,” Gracie, 29, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, August 29. “@jamesrubin170 proposed to our sister @maggiemaymcgraw in the greatest, most Maggie way possible, filled with flowers and family. It’s an honor to have been a small part of the process of getting things set up and perfect for our Mags, I will never forget it.”
Maggie’s proposal was in fact perfected with a little behind-the-scenes help from her siblings, Gracie and Audrey, 24.
“Couldn’t have done it without the help of the best friend a gal could have @timothyehrlich and the artistry of our beautiful sister @audreymcgraw,” Gracie continued via Instagram. “Can’t believe our sister is engaged!!!! AHH!! So excited to have two more sisters added to the mix( me, @audreymcgraw , and @maggiemaymcgraw ) @loganrubinart and @elliejr, and the obvious… a new brother-in-law who loves my sister so fiercely and wholly that it makes everything all the more special. Thank you @jamesrubin170 for making my sister the happiest lady in all the land.”
Although Maggie, 28, has yet to make the news Instagram official on her own profile, Gracie shared a photo of her sister flashing her new engagement ring at what appeared to be a celebration.
She also posted a picture of the newly engaged couple sharing a sweet kiss on the lips during a gathering.
The good news comes weeks after Tim, 59, celebrated Maggie’s birthday with a heartfelt tribute on social media.
“Happy 28th birthday to our amazing middle girl Maggie!! We are all so very proud of you. Your integrity, your work ethic and your devotion to your family are wonderful gifts that we get to enjoy and take pride in every day,” the country singer wrote via Instagram on August 11. “Keep on rockin it Maggie May! We love you so much!! So much wonderful life ahead!!! ♥️.”
Maggie — who works outside the music industry as an intelligence analyst for Major League Baseball, according to her LinkedIn — has tried to keep her personal relationship away from the spotlight. In July 2024, however, Maggie shared photos with James during an event in the Hamptons.
“A moment for the dress (and the date),” Maggie wrote via Instagram at the time.
Maggie’s parents have been married since 1996 and are expected to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary in October.
