Jessie James Decker

Jessie James Decker is a country singer, television personality, entrepreneur and author known for her music career, reality TV appearances and marriage to former NFL star Eric Decker. Decker was born on a U.S. military base in Vicenza, Italy, and spent her childhood moving frequently as part of a military family. She lived in several states, including Georgia, Texas and Louisiana, and began singing and writing songs at a young age. She graduated from Warner Robins High School in Georgia in 2007 and pursued music rather than attending college.

After making regular trips to Nashville as a teenager to develop her songwriting skills, Jessie signed a record deal with Mercury Records. She released her self-titled debut album, Jessie James, in 2009, introducing fans to her blend of country and pop music. Over the years, her profile continued to grow through touring, new music releases and television appearances, including E!’s Eric & Jessie, which documented her life with Eric.

Jessie’s notable projects include her album Southern Girl City Lights (2017) and EPs Gold (2017) and The Woman I’ve Become (2021). She is also known for songs including “Wanted,” “Boys in the Summer” and “Grow Young With You.” Outside of music, she launched the fashion brand Kittenish, authored bestselling cookbooks, including Just Feed Me (2020), and competed on Dancing With the Stars alongside professional dancer Alan Bersten.

Jessie began dating Eric in 2011, and they married in 2013. The couple share four children: Vivianne (born in 2014), Eric Thomas Decker II (born in 2015), Forrest (born in 2018) and Denver (born in 2024).
