Jessie James Decker sees and hears those Real Housewives of Nashville casting rumors loud and clear.
“I have friends coming up being like, ‘Are you doing Real Housewives of Nashville?’” Jessie, 38, exclusively told Us while celebrating Diamond Crystal Salt Co.‘s 140th anniversary on Tuesday, October 27. “I think it’s because I did Watch What Happens Live, and I think people got excited, and Andy [Cohen] was being funny and teasing.”
Earlier this month, Jessie served as a special bartender on the Bravo talk show in support of her new cookbook titled The Secret Sauce.
During the episode, Andy, 58, complimented the cover of the book and said it “looks like a potential audition for The Real Housewives of Nashville.”
The Bravo & Cocktails fan site also posted a tip that Jessie, alongside Bachelor Nation’s Hannah Brown, Holly Woodward and Jordan Washburn, are being considered for a Nashville reality show. Bravo, however, does not comment on casting rumors and hasn’t even announced a Real Housewives of Nashville show.
When asked about doing another family reality show like Eric & Jessie: Game On, Jessie said that chapter may be closed.
“I’m so grateful for it. It truly was such a massive part of my career and gave me so many opportunities,” she told Us. “But I feel like I love the little bubble that we have with our family, and I think it’s just so sacred. I want to keep the privacy of my children and our family sacred, and I give what I want to give on my own terms.”
Jessie continued, “My kids are so normal, and they’re just so happy. I just wouldn’t want to put them in those situations, and to be honest too, I just don’t think it’s necessary for us right now. Life is good, and we love being normal. Not that you’re not normal on reality TV, but I do feel like it puts a magnifying glass.”

Jessie and her husband, Eric Decker, have been married since 2013. They share four children, Vivianne, 12, Eric Jr., 11, Forrest, 8, and Denver, 2.
“Here’s the thing, though,” Jessie shared with Us. “With the Real Housewives, there are no families always involved. It’s just the Real Housewives, so you never really know what can happen out there. Doesn’t always mean that the cameras are going to be in my house with my children. So I’ll say that.”
For now, the Kittenish founder has her hands full as she manages all of her kids’ busy schedules.
Every night, the country singer makes it a priority to have family time at the dinner table with a meal that likely isn’t complete without some Diamond Crystal Salt.
“It has been in my home for years. I’ve used the kosher salt for as long as I can remember. It’s the absolute best,” Jessie shared. “But I’m one of those who puts salt on everything, even when you’re not supposed to. My grandfather would put salt on sliced apples. Salt just brings all the flavors to life, especially Diamond Crystal Salt.”
As part of the company’s anniversary, Jessie attended an exclusive Outstanding in the Field dinner at Xanabu Farms in Malibu.
While the bestselling author loves a short trip to Southern California, she has no doubt that Nashville is the perfect home for her family.
“Our children are thriving and so happy,” she said. “And we have such a beautiful community there. Nashville is absolutely home and always will be.”
