When she was growing up, Lambert’s father both sang and wrote country music, inspiring her to enter talent contests at an early age.
Following Nashville Star, Lambert signed with Epic Records and released her first studio album, Kerosene, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s country charts.
Her sophomore album, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, won Album of the Year at the Country Music Awards in 2008. Her third album, Revolution, won Album of the Year at the CMAs in 2010.
Lambert has also won two Grammys, for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for “The House that Built Me” in 2010, and for Best Country Album for her 2014 album Platinum.
