Rolling Stone Contest Finalist Gets Rock and Roll Hair Makeover
When you're an aspiring rock and roll star, talent is just half (OK, maybe three quarters) of the equation. You also have to need a unique personal style that makes you look the part, as singer songwriter Lelia Broussard recently learned.
The 21-year-old is a finalist in Rolling Stone's "Do You Wanna Be a Rock 'n' Roll Star" contest, an elimination-style competition that will give the winner a place on the magazine's cover and a performance slot at Bonnaroo.
And to get her ready for all her upcoming photo shoots, showcases and performances, Garnier Fructis treated Broussard to a hair makeover with the brand's celebrity stylist Peter Butler.
After snipping off a few inches and giving her a messy textured style at her first styling session, Butler moved onto color.
"I used Garnier HerbaShine and put a nice highlight through the front," Butler tells Us Weekly. "[It's] just a little bit of attitude. She looks amazing."
