Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb put their natural faces forward Thursday morning on NBC's Today show.
"I feel vulnerable... now that I see our monitor, I know why," joked Gifford, 56, while sipping a Bloody Mary ("We need something to get through this!" she said) in front of a sign that read "Today's No Makeup Zone."
"Here I am, bare and unafraid," Gifford added. "We came into this world bare naked and that's the way we're going to go out."

Gifford and Kotb, 45, decided to ditch their makeup after Rosie O'Donnell questioned Gifford on her Sirius radio show last month about having plastic surgery. Said Gifford, "Look for scars anywhere. If you find them, I'll own up to them."

A makeup-free O'Donnell -- who will return to daytime TV in fall 2011 -- Skyped in to the Today show Thursday to apologize to Gifford.
"I'm sorry I hurt your feelings," said O'Donnell, who also didn't brush her hair or teeth. "I thought you looked good. I just thought you looked different."
Today's Meredith Vieira, Ann Curry and Natalie Morales also showed off their bare faces.
"[Most days] I wear enough makeup to frost a cake," Curry quipped.

Kathy Lee has on eye makeup or fake lashes, not fair to say "no" makeup and pretend to be sincere. Looks like Hoda played by the rules.

Kathy still has on eye makeup. She has clearly had work doen b/c she looks so different than when she was on Regis.She had lines around her mouth even back then. Not buying the scar remark.

Just because you can't see scares doesn't mean Kathie Lee hasn't had "work" done. I'm sure she's had plenty of injectables, you can tell her face is puffy and it has that frozen look, so she's not fooling anyone.
