Supermodel Agyness Deyn has ditched her short bob for a totally shaved head. The 27-year-old was spotted at the Coachella musical festival in Indio, Calif. with the shorn look late last week and over the weekend.

"Wearing pink as not to look like I'm a skin head thug!" she wrote on Twitter. "Tried to find a baby stick-on bow but unsuccessful."
Hair stylist Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck told Vogue UK he hopes the shaved head becomes a trend this summer.

"It's so nice to see some variety after so many seasons of long flowing hair!" he said. "Agyness is one of those rare models that can wear her hair in so many ways and I think she's a real inspiration -- we change our clothes every season but hair rarely gets that kind of attention."

Deyn -- who called off her engagement from Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. in March 2009 -- isn't the only boldfaced name to lose her locks. Natalie Portman went bald for V for Vendetta and Demi Moore for 1997's G.I. Jane, while Britney Spears famously shaved her own head in February 2007.

19I have to agree with me!... Short hair is not just for men as is the long hair just for women. A person can chose how he/she looks . I do not judge but others do .
she's pretty. and I think short hair cut won't always makes your face looking boyish. who said that pixie or shot hair cut is for men only? no rule about that. it's just about the clothes you wear. and her clothes does not help her looks, imho.

1. that's not a shaved head. That's a very short haircut. 2. She looks like a boy. I wish we could go back to the days when models looked like gorgeous non androgynous women.
