Selena Gomez partook in an impromptu, post-workday poolside shoot, as you do, wearing nothing but a plunging white bathing suit. Spoiler alert: The "I Want You to Know" songstress looked her sexiest yet!
Shared by makeup artist and photographer Jake Bailey on April 9 (though he snapped them weeks earlier), Gomez, 22, worked her best Blue Steel while modeling the open-backed one-piece. And though, with dripping wet, slicked-back hair, she had clearly dunked herself in the pool, the pop star still managed to rock a full face of glam makeup, including bronzed cheeks and a red lip.
Just another day in the life of the former Disney star! "Backyard sessions wit my boo @byjakebailey," Gomez captioned one side shot, which showcased her hourglass frame.
In reply, Bailey, who simultaneously shared the pics on his own Insta account, thanked the beauty. "A very #sexy and soaking wet @selenagomez," he captioned a head-on shot. "Thank you #selenagomez for being such a beautiful muse."
While the pictures may look styled to perfection, Bailey insists they were just for giggles. "Selena and I did this shoot in her backyard after we finished work early one day. I always have my camera with me, so we decided to take some pictures for fun," he told Us Weekly.
The shutterbug added, "Selena styled herself, I did the makeup, and we used natural light. It was just the two of us; we wanted [the vibe] to be radiant and sexy."
To achieve the Spring Breakers star's smoldering look, Bailey relied on Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Palette in Intensity One (to bronze and contour her cheeks), L'Oreal Extraordinaire by Colour Riche in Scarlet Concerto (on her pout), and Eucerin Intensive Repair Body Lotion (for "an incredible sheen without sparkles," he said).
Meanwhile, Gomez's ex, Justin Bieber, was engaging in a little poolside fun of his own—with Kendall Jenner. The pop star shared two Polaroid shots of himself and the model, lounging in bathing suits via Instagram, hours after Gomez shared her stunning pics.
