Tim Gunn: "No Contest" - Michelle Has Better Style Than Cindy

Which potential first lady does Project Runway judge Tim Gunn think have better style -- Michelle Obama or Cindy McCain?
"No contest, Michelle," he told Usmagazine.com at the Tide and Downy's Fashion Care launch at the Empire Hotel's Pool Deck in NYC Tuesday. "She epitomizes class and American style," he said. "She looks approachable."

But Gunn thinks McCain needs a makeover. "Cindy, on the other hand -- with her button-down suits and blouses -- looks like she's duct-taped," he told Us. "Her fashion is a metaphor for her personality," he added.

a gay liberal choosing Mrs. Obama and not Mrs. McCain...what a surprise...please, Obama got a huge makeover before her husband started running for Pres. She was all about the masculine powersuits. There's an article on it. McCain, is the CEO of a mult-million dollar family company, so she has the very tailored women's business suits - the look is more professional than candidate wife. We're not looking for another Stepford Wife a la Jackie O here. Each has their own style and some times it's a hit sometimes it's a miss. Either way - it's a stylist that puts it all together for Obama now...it's all about appearances not substance. Looks not knowledge wins the votes. Sad but true...Jessica Simpson 2012 YIKES!
What will the next award be? Come on white people... you can surely come up with something better than the fashion award!!! I do admit, the Nobel Peace Prize was out of left feild and quite a surprise to us, and I am sure was a shocker to a man who has done absolutely NOTHING to earn it no matter what race he is!

Big surprise he picked Michelle. Even if Cindy had better style he still would pick Michelle because he is a liberal. Those liberals love OBAMA.
Tim, step away from the Kool-Aid!!! Isn't it strange that the only people who compliment Michele's "style" are the media and the Hollywood apple-polishers who voted for her husband? The rest of us think she needs a serious makeover. Didn't you see the potato sack she wore to dinner on her wedding anniversary? Michele Obama's wardrobe needs to be evaluated by a professional. Perhaps she should have used taxpayer money to consult a stylist instead of taking a separate jet to Copenhagen to bid on the 2016 Olympics. I think a new wardrobe is a much more worthy cause (and much less expensive).
Michelle Obama is more stylish. Cindy McCain's ensembles are too predictable, and not fun or whimsical. Cindy definitely needs help with her hair. Pulling it straight back is too severe, aging her thin face. She also needs fresher, brighter hair color and more style. Her do's are often limp, and dull-looking.
