What Rihanna's New Neck Tattoo Says

Rihanna isn't done expressing herself via body art.
The 22-year-old star revealed yet another tattoo, this one on her neck, while out and about in Manhattan on Wednesday.

Written in delicate cursive script, the fresh stamp reads "rebelle fleur," which means "rebel/rebellious flower" in French. (According to JustJared, Rihanna got it done the night before at East Side Ink in NYC's East Village.)
The "Love the Way You Lie" singer now has paid well over a dozen visits to tattoo parlors. Back in January, she revealed on the Ellen DeGeneres Show that she then had "approximately 13" tattoos.

During her appearance, she told of a new tat across her chest.
"It reads, 'Never a failure always a lesson,'" says the singer, who split with Chris Brown last year after he assaulted her. "It's basically saying that it's ok to make a mistake, just don't make them twice." (She added that the tattoo was written backwards, so she could read the message "in the mirror to myself.")

Tattoos aren't the problem in terms of freedom of expression. It's fine if u plan to work ur entire life in a record shop, tattoo parlor, or night club (not that there's anything wrong with those jobs) Unfortunately, society makes us conform if we want shelter, food, etc. Just imagine being on a college interview or job interview...not a good look. I have a tat, but I am aware there's a time & place to reveal it.
theres nothing wrong with neck tattoos. I have them too. Everyone expresses themselves differently.

I am French and I'm sorry to say her tatoo is not correct. It should have been "fleur rebelle" to mean something. Really, "rebelle fleur" is not idiomatique, it's just weird. People should always check with a native speaker before getting ink in a language they can't speak.

Her tattoo should have been fleur rebelle. In French the noun comes before the adjective. ADVICE TO YOU SKANK, STICK WITH ENGLISH!
this is hilarious..... her tattoo isnt done the right way, in french it would be "Fleur rebelle" and not other way around. Because we say things opposite to english, exemple you say "dinner table" we would say "table à dinner" ....not that complicated to call a french friend to make sure you dont go do huge mistake on your body.
