Deschanel, 31, first donned the black-and-white knee-length number at the Our Idiot Brother premiere in Los Angeles on August 2nd while Cole, 28, stepped out in the two-tone frock to see Shrek the Musical in London on October 5.

In terms of accessorizing the look, the New Girl actress sported black suede YSL pumps and wore her hair in a pretty, side-swept bun. The ex-X Factor judge rocked black and white Giuseppe Zanotti toe-cap pumps and sported a low, side-parted ponytail.
