Exclusive: Why Victoria Beckham Ditched Her Heels

Victoria Beckham has gone flat.
The designer, 34, was spotted without her trademark heels twice this week -- interesting for a woman who once said of flats, "Unless they're on a ballet dancer doing ballet, I just don't get it... The problem with skinny jeans is if you wear them with flat shoes, like flip-flops or trainers, you end up looking like a golf club."

The UK Daily Mail credits the shoe switch-up to "serious bunions," a claim her rep laughs off to UsMagazine.com.
"Oh please, it's purely a fashion choice," the rep tells Us. "She loves mixing things up, changing her image. That's all!"

Beckham further ditched her glam exterior in an interview with Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-
FM radio show about carpooling and helping her three boys with homework.

I think it's adorable. Very appropriate for dashing around an airport, running errands, or hanging with the boys. Heels are definitely the right choice sometimes, but this is Audrey Hepburn cute. Looks very nice on her. I hope she keeps mixing it up this way. Good going Victoria!

She looks better in the flats. Some of those heels she would wear were a joke they were so high and clutsy looking; she looked like she was going to fall over because she couldn't walk in them, looked like a fool. Heels are great at times, but sexy ones, not the 5 in. heeled, front platform clutsy, thick, stupid looking things that are out now.

She looks cute in flats and the heels should not be wore for everyday. Everyone knows that or she will have feet problems in the future and foot surgery is really terrible and you have to do it several times in your lifetime not just once.

I have no problem w/ the shoes but is she ALWAYS dressed up??? That is usually a plus but seriously, has anyone ever seen her in say jeans a basic top??? She is so tiny she'd look great in anything.
