Mommy and daddy’s day out!
Just three months after giving birth to twins, a so-slim Zoe Saldana and her husband, Marco Perego, toasted tennis star Roger Federer‘s 1000th career match at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills on Saturday, March 7.
Working her already teensy post-baby body, Saldana, 36, stunned on the red carpet at the event (hosted by Moet & Chandon) in a white, peplum Altuzarra skirt suit, laced at the waist and up the bodice. Adding a little pop of color, she teamed the style with rainbow Christian Louboutin “Bandy” stiletto heels.
Even more eye-catching than her meticulous style? The Guardians of the Galaxy star’s big love for her artist husband. Not only did the two hold hands throughout the carpet, but when Saldana spoke to the press, Perego, 36, stood patiently behind her. As soon as she was done, the actress spun around and planted a big smooch on her love.
“Zoe literally glowed,” an onlooker told Us Weekly. “She was almost constantly laughing or smiling.” Meanwhile, Saldana couldn’t take her eyes off of her husband. “Zoe was always reaching for his hand or leaning into him as they chatted with people.”
The couple did part for a moment, though, when Star Trek: Into Darkness‘ leading lady took the stage to salute Federer on his standout career. “I know I’m speaking for everyone when I say we are very excited to be here to celebrate your many achievements, especially your 1000th win,” she said on stage, speaking to the tennis champ. “How do you even say ‘1000th win?'”
“Don’t make me feel old!” 33-year-old Federer teased in reply. But Saldana continued sincerely, “You are a tennis legend and a true inspiration off and on the court.”
