"[My look] is not calculated at all," Kravitz told VH1 of his grooming habits. "It's just hair. Back in the day when I grew up in Brooklyn, all the dudes on the block had the straight hair going. It's something I always wanted to do. I was thinking back to my childhood and these guys that were like the guys I looked up to when I was a kid."
