AnnaSophia Robb is ready to step into Carrie Bradshaw's Manolos.
The 18-year-old Soul Surfer actress has been tapped to appear as a young Sarah Jessica Parker in The CW's upcoming pilot, The Carrie Diaries, Variety reports.
Based on Candace Bushnell's novel Carrie Diaries, the CW drama of the same name will be helmed by Gossip Girl's Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz.
The prequel to HBO's smash Sex and the City will feature Robb coming of age in 1980s New York City alongside her rebellious little sister, played by Stefania Owen.
In addition to her work in Soul Surfer, Robb has appeared in the 2005 remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, 2007's Bridge to Terabithia and 2008's Jumper.
