On Monday's Bachelor Pad finale, Gia Allemand and Wes Hayden confirmed what fans have long suspected: They're an item!
Wes, 33, explained that he initially did the show because he "just wanted the cash. Somewhere between first meeting her and the 'I love you' part, I just started to like her," he said of Gia, 26, as her face lip up. "Bad boys need love too."
They flirted on past episodes but never did anything about it because Gia had a boyfriend at the time. She even backed out of a kissing competition on a past episode out of respect for her then-beau.
Said Wes, "There was only one girl I wanted to kiss in the kissing competition, but she kind of yanked away from me."
They then smooched on the lips as their former housemates applauded.
"It's about time that that happened!" gushed cohost Melissa Rycroft.
Wes added that he wasn't sad he didn't win the $250,000 prize. Pointing to Gia, he said, "I got a million dollars here."
Not so romantic: Jesse Kovacs and Elizabeth Kitt. Though they appeared to be an item on the show and continued to be romantic after they were voted off, they have since split.
"Anyone who wants to date a player, here ya go," the newly brunette Elizabeth, 30, sniped, referring to her show partner. "We gave it a shot for a quick minute. He wanted a casual relationship, and I don't do casual relationships."
Jesse, 28, insisted he never misled her. "I never once said I wanted something I didn't want … Sorry you feel that way."
