Looks like Bachelorette contestant Ryan Bowers didn't learn from booted contestant Kalon McMahon that he needed to watch his tongue around Emily Maynard.

Taking her remaining bachelors to Croatia on Monday's episode, single mom Maynard, 26, awarded Bowers a coveted one-on-one date — a move that turned out to be a big mistake. "I've been wanting to have Emily all to myself for a while now and it feels great," Bowers, 31, said after Maynard chose him to go oystering with. "This is the type of woman I can see myself with. This may be the woman God has chosen for me."

Maynard, however, felt differently once Bowers explained that he was looking for a perfect "trophy wife" and that she just could be The One. "God makes a promise to give us great things in our life and you'd be a pretty good promise," he slickly told her during their date. "Like a trophy wife. Every man should believe his wife's a trophy."

Sniped Maynard: "Trophies don't talk back."

Later, during dinner, Maynard — clad in a glittery gold dress that made her look like, well, a trophy — learned that Bowers had penned a list of the 12 biggest qualities he looked for in a woman. Among them: loyalty, confidence and someone with a nurturing personality.

Hearing him out, Maynard decided to let Bowers go when she learned that family — of paramount importance for the single mom — was not on his list of must-haves. "Sometimes I feel like when I'm around you, I feel the need to be perfect all the time. I don't want to be someone's mold, and be married because I fit into their mold," she admitted. "[At] the top of my list would be a loving family and not a perfect one. That wasn't on yours."

Bowers was dumbstruck by his elimination, and admitted during his limo ride back to the hotel that he hoped ABC would not edit him to be "an arrogant ass."

When the other bachelors found out that Bowers got the boot, they couldn't have been more thrilled. Enthused Jef of Maynard: "I have never been prouder of that girl!"

During Monday's ceremony, a shaken Maynard couldn't settle on which guy to send home (she already said goodbye to Travis during his one-on-one date), so she boldly asked Chris Harrison for an extra rose in order to save all of her bachelors.

Next week, Maynard and her remaining bachelors — Jef, Arie, Sean, John and Doug — will travel to Prague.
