Britney Spears Drops a New Single

Britney Spears is back on the music scene!
The singer, 27, released the dance track "3" to radio Tuesday, through her Zomba record label.

Produced by Spears' longtime collaborator Max Martin -- the man behind her 1998 hit "...Baby One More Time" -- "3" will be included on the singer's Nov. 24 Singles Collection album.

The song features suggestive lyrics about having romantic relationships more than one person at a time, with the pop star crooning sexy lines like "1, 2, 3/ Not only you and me/ Got 180 degrees/ And I'm caught in between."
Currently on an international tour promoting her sixth studio album, Circus, Spears Twittered about working with Martin earlier this summer. "Back in the studio with Max!" she posted in July.

Spears' "Singles Collection" celebrates the 10th anniversary of her industry debut and will feature 17 of her biggest hits, along with a DVD of her music videos. The singer released her first greatest hits album, My Prerogative, in 2004.

She signed a recording contract with Jive Records in 1997. Her first single was released in October of 1998. Her first album was released in January of 1999. This 10 year anniversary is a year or two late. Someone needs a math lesson.
