Three’s a party! Bruno Mars announced on Friday, February 5, that he’s performing at Sunday’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. According to a source, the “Young Girls” singer joins previously announced performers Coldplay and Beyoncé.
“It ain’t a party if Mr $how Up & $how out doesn’t show up. #Confirmed #SB50 #Halftime #Coldplay #Beyonce #TheBrunz #Shwaaaggg,” Mars captioned an Instagram photo of himself at Levi’s Stadium on Friday.
Performing on the field is nothing new for the 30-year-old Grammy-winning artist.
Mars headlined the Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey in 2014. His SB 48 performance earned him a nomination for a primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program.
Beyoncé, who collaborated with Coldplay on the 2015 track “Hymn for the Weekend,” also previously performed at the Super Bowl in 2013.
