Christina Aguilera Steals the Show on Nashville: Watch Her Get Country!

Gone country! Christina Aguilera stole the show on the latest episode of Nashville on Wednesday, April 15.

The Grammy winner, 34, made her debut appearance on the ABC drama as the pink-haired singer Jade St. John, dominating the episode entitled "Nobody Knows But Me." The big-time performer arrives in Nashville and is forced to confront her former fiancé Jeff Fordham (Oliver Hudson) as she prepares for her big concert.

Aguilera gets some screen time when Jeff comes to pay Jade a visit. As shown in the video above, the two make references to their past and have a tense moment when the former label exec tells the pop star, "I thought the Jeff you knew wasn't good enough, since you obviously saw the need to trade up."

After agreeing to Jeff's suggestion that Layla Grant open her show, Jade takes the stage and blows the crowd away as only she can. In a big moment, Aguilera performs the new original track "The Real Thing."

The singer, who previously earned a feature film credit for 2010's Burlesque, will also appear in next week's episode of Nashville, Wednesday, April 22's "The Storm Has Just Begun." As Us Weekly revealed this week, Aguilera will also be making a surprise appearance at this Sunday's Academy of Country Music Awards, where she'll perform with Rascal Flatts.
