Cody Simpson and girlfriend Gigi Hadid can't keep their hands off each other! The "Surfboard" singer, 17, recently asked the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, 18, to appear in the music video for his new song—and as he reveals to Us Weekly in the exclusive interview above, things got pretty steamy on set.

"I try to keep my personal life and my public life separate, but I was like, 'Why not kind of mix the two?'" Simpson tells Us. "It's gonna be a kind of sexy video, so I want to get something that's just, like, natural chemistry...We had a couple kisses on camera and stuff, and they honestly had to tell us to stop after they cut."

Hadid, whom Simpson has been dating since mid-2013, is the daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster and her ex-husband Mohamed Hadid. (Yolanda is now married to music producer David Foster.) "I spend a lot of time with her family," Simpson tells Us

(Gigi's move to NYC for college and her burgeoning modeling career was a plot point—and a difficult transition for Mama Yolanda—on the just-concluded fourth season of RHOBH.)

The Aussie pop star also dishes on his experience as a contestant on Dancing With the Stars. (Partnered with newcomer Witney Carson, he was sent home from the competition in week five.) "Dancing With the Stars was pretty unreal," he raves, "an opportunity that I never thought would present itself in my life."
