Could we BE any more excited for this news? Netflix announced on Wednesday, Oct 15, that the entire Friends series is coming to the streaming and DVD-delivery service in the near future.

In a New Year’s event worthy of a visit from the Holiday Armadillo, all 236 episodes of the beloved sitcom will be available to stream through Netflix on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015. The company announced the addition in a video on Wednesday morning.

The three-minute clip features James Michael Tyler as his Friends character Gunther, and the band The Rembrandts, who recorded the Friends theme song “I’ll Be There for You.” Tyler is shown clapping along as the musicians croon, “So no one told you life was gonna be this way / Your job’s a joke, you’re broke, your love life’s D.O.A. / It’s like you’re always stuck in second gear / When it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month, or even your year, but / I’ll be there for you.”

Juxtaposed with vintage photos of the Friends cast and show memorabilia, Gunther places a mug adorned with the Friends logo next to one reading, “I Heart Netflix.”
