Lady Gaga to “Paparazzi” Singer, 12: “Stay Away From Girls”

Lady Gaga surprises 12-year-old Greyson Chance — who has gotten more than 2 million YouTube hits with his rendition of "Paparazzi" — with a phone call on Thursday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

"You're so sweet and so talented. I was so excited that you covered 'Paparazzi,'" Gaga, 24, tells the Oklahoma-based sixth grader, who first performed the song for a church talent show. "Everyone loves you so much."

Gaga's advice?

"Just keep following your dreams and work really hard and stay away from girls and be focused," says the singer, who recently admitted she's celibate.

Gaga also tells Chance — who sports Justin Bieber's hairdo — not to be "nervous" about singing "Paparazzi" on the talk show Thursday.

"You already won over everyone's heart. Just enjoy yourself," she says. "Just have fun and give a performance of a lifetime."

Greyson calls Gaga his "No. 1 inspiration."

"I love how she's so different," he says. "She takes her individuality and she takes an amazing talent that she has and she makes gets songs that are catchy.  They make you want to dance and maybe throw out some Ellen moves that you have."
