Speidi strikes back! Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are returning to television with the new season of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, WE tv announced on Thursday, Oct. 2.
The infamous Hills alums will star in the upcoming reality show, which is scheduled for an early 2015 premiere.
Since the 2010 wrap of The Hills, Montag, 28, and Pratt, 31, have been making appearances on various unscripted programs to pay the bills, showing their faces on series including Celebrity Big Brother and Big Brother's Bit on the Side.
Though they once showed off their glamorous lives on their MTV show, the blonde stars are now reportedly living in Pratt's parents' house and were inspired to go on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars over the subject of children. According to WE tv, "Heidi desperately wants them now, while Spencer is more interested in going out and having fun."
Pratt and Montag aren't the only famous faces joining the limit-testing show, which promises it will make the stars go through tough love, marriage counseling, and "face demons from their past that are still affecting them now, and in turn, suffocating their relationships."
The Real Housewives of New York City's Aviva Drescher, who was recently booted from the Bravo series, and her husband Reid Drescher were also added to the cast. "Both having gone through ugly divorces before, Aviva and Reid are determined to make their marriage work," reads a release from WE tv. Aviva was previously married to businessman Harry Dubin, while her husband was once wed to Claudine Gallo. "However, [Aviva's] affinity for being famous, her cruel new TV friends and destructive self-internet searches are driving a wedge between them. Aviva cannot read a single thing without taking it to heart, and Reid is tired of living in her drama."
Led by Marriage Boot Camp directors Jim and Elizabeth Carroll, Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars will also include Bad Girls Club's Natalie Nunn and her husband Jacob Payne, Survivor: Blood vs. Water's Tyson Apostol and Rachel Foulger, and R&B Divas' Syleena Johnson and her husband Kiwane Garris.
