Elsa approves! Idina Menzel praised Channing Tatum’s performance of “Let It Go” on the Thursday, January 7, episode of Lip Sync Battle.
“I got chills!” the Broadway star, 44, tweeted on Thursday. “And not because I’m an ice queen. You made me proud.”
The Magic Mike star, 35, totally nailed the theme song to Disney’s 2013 animated smash film, Frozen, originally performed by Menzel as Princess Elsa.
To top Tatum’s performance off, Beyoncé made a surprise appearance and lip-synched along with Tatum. As for the pair’s opponent? It was none other than Tatum’s wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum.

As for why he chose the beloved Disney tune as his song choice? He explained that his 2-year-old daughter, Everly, loves the film.
“I’m trying to ruin the movie for her, so we never have to watch it again,” he joked.
