She makes TSA security look fun! Iggy Azalea debuted her new airport-theme music video for “Team” on Thursday, March 31. It comes just a day after a different kind of video was leaked — which showed her fiancé Nick Young allegedly confessing to Los Angeles Lakers teammate D’Angelo Russell that he cheated on Azalea with a teenager.
The Aussie rapper, 25, looks amazing in the “Team” vid, rocking a high ponytail and shiny bodysuit as she speeds down the highway in a flashy sports car. She arrives at the airport and breezes through security in crazy, sky-high shoes with cans of (totally prohibited) spray paint in her suitcase.
Once she’s out on the runway, the “Fancy” singer has another sexy all-white outfit and puts on quite a performance with her dance crew. The group spray-paints the airplane with graffiti related to her new album, Digital Distortion, which is a follow-up to her 2014 major label debut, The New Classic.
While the Grammy-nominated artist has been busy tweeting about and promoting her new single today, she’s also been dealing with the aftermath of the very-public scandal. She took to Twitter on Wednesday, March 30, to react to Young’s admission: “Hmmm I see D Angelo Russell is trending… I actually liked his film,” she wrote. “Thanks bro.”
The basketball star also commented in a since-deleted tweet after his teammate apologized for recording the private conversation without his permission. “2016. McDonald’s sale breakfast bowls, Burger King sale hotdogs dudes taken side chicks pics on the gram & tattle taling is cool .. I’m done.”
