Catching Fire has found its Johanna Mason.

Lionsgate announced Monday that Jena Malone will take on the role of the hardened former Hunger Games victor from District 7.

Prior to signing on to the second installment of the dystopian thriller, based on Suzanne Collins' bestselling Young Adult trilogy, Malone, 27, appeared in the History Channel's Hatfields & McCoys alongside Bill Paxton and Kevin Costner, as well as in 2011's Sucker Punch and 2007's Into the Wild.

Another recent addition to the Games cast? Philip Seymour Hoffman, who will take on the role of gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee, the brain behind the deadly Quarter Quell competition.

Lionsgate has yet to settle on its Finnick Odair, although Sam Claflin -- who recently starred in Snow White and the Huntsman with Kristen Stewart -- is said to be the frontrunner for the coveted role.
