Jennifer Love Hewitt's The Client List is a hit!
On Monday, Lifetime confirmed the series will return for a second season in 2013 with 15 all-new episodes. The show — which also stars Cybill Shepherd, Colin Egglesfield, Loretta Devine, Rebecca Field and Naturi Naughton — premiered to 2.8 million viewers in April.
"I couldn't be happier about Lifetime's decision to renew The Client List for a second season," Hewitt, 33, tells Us Weekly in a statement. "It has been so much fun working with such a great cast and crew on the wonderful stories we tell, and I'm ready to see where The Client List takes all of us next year."
Nancy Dubuc, president and general manager of Lifetime Networks, adds: "The Client List represents everything we want to be — fresh, exciting and original with attitude. We love Jennifer and this series, and are equally thrilled that they have connected with our audience."
The Client List averages 2.7 million viewers per episode, making it the network's most-watched series since Drop Dead Diva in 2009. It is based off the 2010 TV film of the same name, also starring Hewitt.
