Juan Pablo’s Advice to Bachelorette Andi Dorfman: Don’t Be a “Puppet,” “Stay True to Yourself”

Juan Pablo and Andi Dorfman on 'The Bachelor'
As Andi Dorfman saw the premiere of her edition of Bachelorette, her infamous former suitor Juan Pablo Galavis wishes her good luck and some advice via Facebook -- warning her not to be a "puppet" and to "stay true to yourself"

Juan PABLO Galavis really likes the CAPS LOCK button on his KEYBOARD, apparently. The infamous season 18 Bachelor, 32, offered words of encouragement to the franchise's newest star, Andi Dorfman, whose edition of The Bachelorette premiered on Monday, May 19.

The Atlanta-based lawyer, 26, and Galavis go way back: Dorfman acquired more than a few fans when, as one of the 27 women vying for the final rose, after she dramatically confronted the Bachelor during the Fantasy Suite date episode, which aired in February.

Nearly three months later, Galavis (still with his final choice Nikki Ferrell) took to his Facebook page to provide guidance—whether warranted or not. "Today I want to wish the BEST to you Andi Dorfman on your JOURNEY as the Bachelorette…" Galavis wrote. "I'm GLAD to hear that now you have gone THROUGH the process, some of the things that we TALKED about while we were on The Bachelor which to you seemed NEGATIVE, became your REALITY during 2 months of filming."

He added, "Thanks for being one of Nikki's best friends, no one in the world wants BETTER for you than Mi Catira and I know you do for her also. You were lucky Nikki was your best friend and I CHOSE her jajaja, cause if not who was gonna HELP give you TIPS for your contract before the show, and explain you VERY well what you were getting into jejeje. It was GREAT Facetiming with you and also seeing you and Nikki smile to each other after a few months APART."

Unable to resist taking a dig at ABC, Galavis pleaded with Dorfman to honor herself rather than concede to the network's wishes throughout the process. "I Wish you the BEST and hope you follow the MOST important advice I gave you, to STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF at all times and not to fear what 20 hours of a show could look like," Galavis said to Dorfman. "As long as you can put your head on your PILLLOW and be totally at PEACE, knowing that you did the right thing and that you weren't a PUPPET, like TONS of other people who decided to do this show."

(As reported, Galavis had a contentious relationship with ABC from the inception of filming season 18 of The Bachelor. "From the beginning something just didn't seem right and something didn't fit," show host Chris Harrison wrote in a March blog post of Galavis.) Click here to see more of his biggest scandals.

Galavis concluded his post by telling Dorfman he was boycotting her Bachelorette season. "I WON'T be watching the show," he wrote, "and I don't want you to FEEL that is because of you, I would just RATHER wait till the END and for you to tell me EXACTLY how your experience was. I have NEVER seen The Bachelor or Bachelorette before I was on it, and watched just because I wanted to know how my AMAZING experience would be portrayed on a TV show. The result, you know IT… jejeje."

"Best wishes and like I said, HOPE you STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF, but if not, It's OK… jejejeje," he wrote. "Besitos, Juan Pablo Galavis."
