Kanye West must really regret his impromptu ambush of Taylor Swift at Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards.
West — who interrupted Swift as she accepted a Best Female Video award — wrote another post on his blog Monday.
"I feel like Ben Stiller in Meet the Parents when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave… That was Taylor's moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry," he posted.
An earlier blog post by West no longer appears on the site.
In that one, the rapper — who was drinking Hennessy on the red carpet — said that "Beyonce's video was the best of this decade . . . I'm sorry to my fans if I let you guys down . . . I'm sorry to my friends at MTV . . . I will apologize to Taylor."
After the show, Swift, 19, told reporters she had no ill-will toward West, of whom she was once a fan.
"I don't want to start anything because I had a great night tonight," she said.
