Kanye West Wages Twitter War With Britney Spears

Talk about being a poor sport!
Britney Spears' latest single has remained at the top of the iTunes charts since it debuted at midnight on Tuesday -- and Kanye West is none too pleased about it.

With his song "H.A.M. (featuring Jay-Z)" stalled in the No. 2 position behind Spears' "Hold It Against Me," the 33-year-old rapper took to Twitter get a rise out of the 29-year-old pop star.
"Yo Britney, I'm really happy for you and I'mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z's single is one of the best songs of all time! LOL," he wrote.

Though West later removed the tweet, that didn't stop Spears' manager Adam Leber from issuing a response on the singer's behalf.
"Thanks for 'letting' us be #1," Leber wrote sarcastically. "Much appreciated."
West later apologized, telling his followers, "On a serious note I'm truly happy for Avril Lavigne and Britney Spears. No hate in 2011...I thought LOL signified a joke."
This isn't the first time West has had beef with the "Piece of Me" singer; he reportedly had a meltdown backstage at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards when Spears replaced him as the show's opening performer.

"Y'all find Britney. Get Britney! Get a real f***ing artist! Get Britney f***ing Spears!" he screamed after the singer's disastrous "Gimme More" performance. "That's two years in a row, man. Give a black man a chance. I'm trying hard, man! I have the No. 1 record!"

Clearly it was a joke people and the fact that Britney Spears is #1 on the charts is proof of how screwed up the music industry is and how much they've screwed up an individual's level of taste. I don't even bang with Hip-Hop like that these days, but I will put Kanye's entire discography against Britney Spears' mindless, mean-nothing, s l u t t y, whorish music any day. And seriously, Fio, Kanye has been in the music industry since before Britney even got her first hit in 99. Yes Britney has been in entertainment longer, but Kanye is an actual artist meaning he doesn't just read whatever someone hands him or comes up with for him and does it. He creates. The last thing Britney created was a sign that says "I got my weave at Save-A-Lot."
