Dancing with the Stars: Martina Navratilova Eliminated

The first elimination on Dancing With the Stars is often unpredictable, but that wasn't the case with Season 14. After tennis champ Martina Navratilova, 55, and singer Gavin DeGraw, 35, landed in the bottom two Tuesday, host Tom Bergeron delivered the crushing news: Navratilova's journey is over.

DeGraw immediately hugged his ousted competitor, telling her: "It was an honor to be on the stage with you."

Navratilova told co-host Brooke Burke Charvet, 40, that her time on Dancing With the Stars "was an amazing experience. I just wish that it had lasted longer."

Said Navratilova: "I gave it everything I had, but I blew it yesterday and it cost me, unfortunately. Hopefully I get to the do the jive the last week here. I look forward to coming back and I wish everybody good luck."

The athlete and pro partner Tony Dovolani scored 20/30 points on the March 19 premiere with their foxtrot, but faltered with their jive on March 26; The pair finished in last place with a cumulative 37/60 points.

The remaining contestants on Dancing With the Stars include William Levy, Gladys Knight, Maria Menounos, Sherri Shepherd, Jack Wagner, Donald Driver, Roshon Fegan, Melissa Gilbert, Katherine Jenkins and Jaleel White.
