Mila Kunis Saves "Petrified" BBC Radio Reporter in Charming Interview

Mila Kunis may play a witch in her new film, Oz the Great and Powerful, but in real life, the 29-year-old actress is as sweet and down-to-earth as any girl next door. Case in point: her interview with starstruck rookie reporter Chris Stark of BBC Radio 1.

Stark, 25, is a ball of nerves from the moment he begins to talk. "Seriously, I'm petrified. I've never done this before," he warns the onetime Golden Globe nominee at the beginning of the nearly seven-minute clip. He then proceeds to ask her what it was like to be "ugly" in Oz, since "generally, [she's] hot."

Kunis, perhaps charmed by his awkwardness, answers his question and then tries to coach him through the fear. "How are you feeling? It's not that bad. It's not that scary. What about this is frightening for you?" she asks sympathetically. This somehow leads to Stark rambling on about drinking Jagerbombs with his buddies at their local pub -- and then inviting Kunis to come join them.

Things only get stranger from there. After Stark asks a question about sports, he proposes they go on a date involving chicken, beer, and his local football (soccer) team. (At this point, they've been talking for nearly five minutes and have yet to even say the name of the movie they're supposed to be discussing.)

"I should get back to the questions," Stark says at one point. To which Kunis replies: "Why? This is way more fun for me...This is the best interview I've had today."

Unfortunately for the actress, a publicist insists they get back on track, so Kunis quickly gives him the answers to questions she knows he's going to ask. She rattles on for a full minute about her role in the movie and what it was like to work with her co-stars, after which time Stark derails the conversation once again by inviting her to go with him to his friend's wedding.

"Well, I've gone to a Marine Ball," Kunis replies, laughing. "So what's another? Apparently I just say yes to everything."
