Mom: Lindsay Lohan Wasn't Axed from Porn Pic, She Turned It Down

Lindsay Lohan pulled herself out of Inferno, the biopic about troubled porn star Linda Lovelace -- not the other way around.
That's the claim of Lindsay's mom, Dina Lohan.

"She turned Inferno down," Dina, 48, told Radaronline.
Back in November, the film's director Matthew Wilder said, "We are withdrawing our offer from Lindsay Lohan," explaining that it was impossible to insure the star, 24, who's still staying at the Betty Ford Center per court order. Actress Malin Ackerman was subsequently named as Lohan's replacement.

Dina insists that's not the real story. Her famous daughter walked away from the edgy project because "The movie is about a drug addict and a porn star... it is hard when you are a serious actor with what she has been through, we don't need that."
Lohan is slated to remain at Betty Ford until Jan. 3.
"It was hard for her to turn it down, because it was an amazing role," Dina added. "She made the ultimate decision, she always does."
And despite the "uninsurable" claims, Dina says her daughter has "had a lot of offers" for film work once she's out of rehab.

8How is Lindsay a "serious" actress? Gees Dina. Just go away already. Your enabling is only hurting Lindsay more than she's already hurt herself.
Why would the director lie about replacing her? Its not like she was that important anymore. She will fizzle out like every other loser star.
Maybe they took one good look at her naked and decided not to put themselves through any further embarrassment by casting her. I mean, one of her boobs is lopsided for goodness sake, who wants to see a naked chick with warped boobies? It's like looking at a new car with flat tires.
Yeah sure she did lol if the studio withdrew their offer months ago why didnt Dina say THEN that Lindsay actually turn it down? because everyone is probably starting to forget about Lindsay and Dina is scrambling to make her relevant lol the girl is uninsurable cos shes a bad risk and unreliable and her conduct with her other films proves it....end of story.... no one would touch her now unless Skelator fully BEGGED them to take her lol
