Rusty’s raunchy vacation! Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) and Ellen Griswold (Beverly D’Angelo) may be returning in National Lampoon’s Vacation reboot, but it’s their son Rusty Griswold (Ed Helms) that will be reliving his childhood summer. In Vacation’s first trailer, Rusty (who has been recast for the fifth time in the franchise) takes his wife Debbie (Christina Applegate) and their two sons to the most magical place in the world: Walley World, the hallowed destination in the original 1983 classic.
Like any Griswold getaway, the film features ridiculous scenarios and plenty of sexual innuendos. This time around, Rusty also meets up with his sister Audrey Griswold (Leslie Mann, also the fifth recast), mistakenly swims in a sewage river (seriously gross!), and flirts with a hot brunette (Hannah Davis) while driving on the highway.
There are some surprises along the way, too. Chris Hemsworth, in particular, plays Audrey’s love Stone Crandall in the upcoming adventure comedy. In one hilarious scene, the hunk — wearing tight briefs and nothing else! — helps Rusty and Debbie with their TV. Rusty, of course, is oblivious to his, um, package.
“He totally just came in here to show off his six-pack,” he says.
Vacation hits theaters on July 29, 2015.
