The never-before-released song began streaming online and playing across the radio airwaves at midnight Monday.

The track opens with Jackson singing, "This is it, here I stand/I'm the light of the world, I feel grand."

The soulful R&B song includes backing vocals by Jackson's brothers, will play during the closing sequence of Sony's forthcoming film, Michael Jackson's This Is It.

"This song only defines, once again, what the world already knows -- that Michael is one of God's greatest gifts," John McClain, co-producer of the album and an executor of Jackson's estate, said in a statement.

Two versions of the single will also be part of a new two-disc album that includes the late King of Pop's greatest hits as well as a rare listen of unreleased early demo versions of his classics.
