The first year — and now the first baby! Newlyweds: The First Year‘s Rochelle and Rob Brann welcomed their first child, daughter Arya London, on Thursday, February 25, Us Weekly has learned exclusively.
The happy couple’s bundle of joy weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 19.5 inches. The little one arrived after what was a tough pregnancy for Rochelle, who actually passed out in a train station while with child in late summer.
“I was very sick pretty much most of the nine months,” the new mom tells Us. “From [the train incident] on, Rob and I just decided, no matter what it takes, we’re going to do whatever we need to to make sure that we bring this baby into the world as healthy as possible. I really am lucky, and we’re both really blessed to have a healthy child.”
Ro admits that she still gets “emotional even thinking about” the fact that the pregnancy was a success, and she gives credit to her husband’s strength for helping them through some tougher moments.
“He really was just my rock in that moment in the delivery room — just being able to look across the room and see him in there with me and knowing that he’s my partner in life and that he’s just as excited to see our child as I am, it was the most amazing moment of my life,” she says of giving birth.
Newlyweds’ season 3 finale airs on Wednesday, March 2, and Rob reveals that the Bravo series’ viewers will see the couples’ continued growth.
“It’s going to be good to see where we all are respectively at the end of a year and to know that one year — although it’s a landmark, it’s certainly not a finish line for many of the couples,” he says of the pivotal episode.
Newlyweds: The First Year’s season 3 finale airs on Bravo on Wednesday, March 2, at 10 p.m. EST.
