Kate Middleton may have channeled Grace Kelly on her wedding day, but it looks like Nicole Kidman may be the one to portray the late Princess of Monaco on the big screen.
On Friday, Variety reported that the 44-year-old actress is currently in negotiations to play Kelly in a new biopic, Grace of Monaco.
The film, which will be directed by Olivier Dahan and produced by Pierre-Ange Le Pogam, will depict Kelly's life from 1961 through 1962, when the former actress was in her sixth year on the Monaco throne and was tasked with saving the country from being overthrown by the French -- at just 33 years old.
Kidman's last hugely recognized and celebrated film was 2010's Rabbit Hole, which landed her Best Actress nominations at the Oscars, Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
