PIC: Rosario Dawson Gropes Paul Rudd's Package!

At Saturday's Independent Spirit Awards, Rosario Dawson and Paul Rudd were in a very jokey -- and handsy! -- kind of mood.
After Rudd felt up co-presenter Eva Mendes' breasts in a scripted routine, Dawson literally took matters into her own hands and returned Rudd's gesture in an improvised moment.
"I'm a women's rights activist and I was getting a little tired that he was grabbing her boob onstage for half an hour," Dawson, 31, told Access Hollywood. "Nothing bad, but it was funny."
To teach the 41-year-old How Do You Know actor a lesson, Dawson jumped on stage and took hold of Rudd's genitals.

"I was sitting there with my fork like, 'If he doesn't stop, I'm going to stab him with my fork,'" the Unstoppable star explained. "So I got up there and I stabbed him with my fork, and he didn't stop, so I was like, alright, I'm going to grab his package."
The audience members weren't the only ones stunned by Dawson's frisky behavior. "Eva kept laughing nervously and Paul seemed totally not into the joke," an onlooker tells UsMagazine.com.

Still, Dawson told Access Hollywood she has no regrets about the unscripted moment.
"It wasn't bad. It was actually a pretty good package," Dawson laughed. "I've kind of been curious since I was a teenager watching Clueless. Women should get to cop a feel, too."

the thing with it being scripted was that eva mendes obviously had given consent, but paul rudd hadn't. that's sexual assault :/ i see where she's coming from though - it does get tiring seeing men continually pawing at women as part of award shows and events, a la justin timberlake and janet jackson.

You all have good points with regard to the "they're actors and do this stuff all the time"...very true. And perhaps his wife DID get a kick out of it. I still think it's poor form...I guess I'm just a prude, because no way in he** could I personally do that to anyone scripted or not, married or not. Maybe that's ultimately my problem. :)
If a married Paul can grab Eva's stuff, scripted or not, then someone can grab Paul's stuff, scripted or not. They're all actors, and they do more than touch stuff on movie sets. I'd be more upset about my husband kissing other women and being in bed naked, then this stuff.

if Eva can take a joke so can he.....and if his wife cared about any of it(which I doubt) he's the only one who needs to answer to her since he started it! It was a joke..he deserved to be made the BUTT of his own joke. He's a big boy!

Isn't he married?? I don't care what her excuse is, you don't do that to a married person, period. It already said HIS grabbing was SCRIPTED so Mendes knew ahead of time what was coming and she didn't have to play along if she didn't want to.
