Prince will be a surprise presenter at the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Sunday, Jan. 11, his rep confirms exclusively to Us Weekly.

The legendary singer, 56, will hand out the award for Best Original Song. Nominees in that category include Lorde, John Legend, Lana Del Rey, Patti Smith, and Sia.
Prince won the 2007 Golden Globe for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture category for his beloved hit "The Song of the Heart," which was featured in the animated movie Happy Feet.
He will join a slew of high-profile presenters at the 2015 Golden Globes Globes including Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Pratt, Channing Tatum, Jennifer Lopez, and more.
