Let’s hope she has absolutely nothing to do with Brooks Ayers or Cancergate. Producers have added Corona Del Mar, California, resident Kelly Meza-Dodd to the Real Housewives of Orange County cast, a source close to the cast tells Us Weekly.
According to Dodd’s Facebook, the brunette, 40, Is married to Michael Dodd and they share one child together. Dodd is the COO of Kiss Me Mirrors, a company based out of Newport Beach, California, and her husband, 58, was formerly president of LeapFrog Enterprises Inc.
Last season, the drama revolved around OG Housewife Vicki Gunvalson’s now ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers and his alleged cancer diagnosis. After newcomer Meghan King Edmonds suspected Ayers was lying about his health — which he initially and adamantly denied — his supposed treatment center, the City of Hope hospital, told Us Weekly that they never treated him. Gunvalson, who stood by Ayers’ side throughout season 10, has since declared she “hates” him and vowed to never speak to him again.
Bravo declined to comment. So far, it’s not yet known which of the established Housewives cast — which also includes Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador — will appear in season 11. A premiere date has yet to be announced.
