Ready to rumba!

Though they pulled a measly 47/60 after their mediocre performance Monday night, Melissa Gilbert and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy escaped elimination during Tuesday night's results show thanks to viewer support.

Not quite so fortunate? Roshon Fegan and Jaleel White.

Once viewer votes were tallied, hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke Charvet announced (to audible boos) that the Disney star and his partner Chelsie Hightower would be taking part in the season's final dance duel alongside Jaleel White and pro Kym Johnson. (Both pairs were well versed in dance duel procedures; White battled Gavin DeGraw on April 17, and Fegan danced alongside Gladys Knight during the April 24 results show.)

Each team was feeling the pressure during pre-dance duel rehearsals. Normally soft-spoken pair Fegan and Hightower got into a mini-spat as they prepped their rumba for the big night.

"You're a little pushy," Fegan told a frustrated Hightower. "No, you gotta get it right!" Hightower snapped, storming out.

Despite the tension, when it came time to hit the dancefloor, both couples brought their A-games.

"Side-by-side, you guys are pretty much equal," judge Carrie Ann Inaba admitted after watching White and Fegan's impressive performances.

Judge Bruno Tonioli agreed. "It's just a matter of taste at this level," he confessed.

Still, citing the confidence Fegan brought to his rumba–as well as his chemistry with Hightower–all three judges unanimously voted to keep him and send White packing.

After hearing their decision, White smiled and warmly embraced his competitor.

"I really only thought I'd last three dances," a visibly emotional White told Bergeron, adding that he's thrilled his pal Fegan gets the chance to dance again next week.

"I love Roshon Fegan, I'm happy they saved him," White shared. "He has a bright future!"

Following Jaleel White's elimination, there are six contestants left in the running, including Fegan, Katherine Jenkins, Donald Driver, Maria Menounos, Melissa Gilbert, and William Levy.
