The We TV series’ sneak peeks show the singer, 39, telling older sister Toni that she just got bad news: Her husband, Vince, spoke to producers, and Tamar says they told Vince that she “was basically fired.”

“I just don’t know what I did wrong,” Tamar laments to her sister, 48. “I’m so humiliated, Toni — I don’t know what to do. I know everybody’s gonna think it’s something I did or, ‘She’s this way, and she’s got a big mouth.’ I could probably understand more if I had known that I did something, but I don’t know what I did.”

Tamar says she feels particularly despondent because this news follows a string of adversity for her, including unimpressive sales numbers for her new album, along with her abrupt exit from Dancing With the Stars season 21 for health issues.

“I feel disrespected, I feel let down, I feel disregarded because it’s never been a conversation,” she says about the sudden decision by the daytime talk show’s brass.

According to a joint statement released to Us by The Real and Tamar on Sunday, May 22, both parties “mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season.” However, a source told Us that the split was not actually mutual.

“Tamar Braxton just got fired from The Real,” the source said at the time. “Apparently, audiences didn’t like her, and salespeople didn’t find her brand-friendly. She was too difficult on production.”

Tamar — who cohosted the syndicated chat series alongside Tamera Mowry, Jeannie Mai, Adrienne Bailon and Loni Love — wrote in an Instagram post on Saturday, May 21, that she had been “stabbed in the back by someone I stupidly trusted (not my man or my sisters) … Know that everyone who smiles in your face is NOT your friend and is NOT cheering for you and will LIE and try and tear u down to TRY and dim your light.”

Watch her emotional reaction in the videos above.

Braxton Family Values airs on We TV Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET.
