‘The Biggest Loser’ Star Dolvett Quince’s Recap: ‘So Happy’ My Team Won Letters From Home

First of all, let me start out by saying I hope all of you back East are staying warm and taking care of yourselves during these blizzards! I’m #sorrynotsorry to say that The Biggest Loser’s Monday, January 25, episode started off with a beautiful backdrop of the Malibu beaches, where the contestants were asked to bid on some fantastic luxuries. From a day at the spa, to bicycles, to new kitchen equipment, to one-on-one training, to a Bahamas vacation, the contestants received a windfall, with Colby and Toy receiving the best two prizes — immunity and a growing pound, respectively.

For the last-chance challenge, each team was flipping tires and stepping up to the challenge, but even with my team’s strong efforts, Jen‘s team took the win.

At the weigh-in, Colby’s immunity worked to his advantage as he put up a four-pound loss, and Toy opted to save her growing pound. It all came down to Jacky vs. Toy, and Toy needed to lose five pounds or more, but she lost four. I was super happy that my team pulled off another weigh-in win, but was sad to see Toy fall below the yellow line and ultimately get sent home.

For the challenge, the prize up for grabs was a day on a yacht, along with letters from home, and boy, oh boy, did my team want their letters! They pulled each buoy in and then paddled themselves out to the yacht, and they won! I’m so happy that they got those letters from home — it really gave them the emotional strength they needed to head into the next week.

At the weigh-in, we saw Vicki and Erin get into One-derland. This is a huge accomplishment for anyone on a weight-loss journey. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to keep either of them safe, as they both fell below the yellow line when my team pulled out another win, and Vicki was sent home.

What did you guys think of the show? Which luxury would you bid on? Do you think my team can manage a three-peat and pull off another win next week? And how great was Erin’s song?!
